    还有就是在租车处被一个老太太问及姓名的时候,我告诉她my name is spelled zed - h - a... 老太太突然瞪着一对儿大眼珠抬头看我:“Did you say a 'D' ? ”

    "No, zed."

    "'E'?"

"No, zed, as in zero? I mean, the last alphabet in English..."

You mean a zeeeeeeeeeee?”

Boulder is not THAT pretty, but nice enough.
Yes. No. No, didn't see a Chinese lady the entire time I was in Boulder. In fact, I don't think I saw any Chinese in Denver either (plenty Koreans though).

San Diago? Is that close to San Diego? my friends here still laugh at my 'Canadian accent' like 'sorry' & 'borrow' but my parents who can't even pronounce 1/2 the stuff they say hardly get a second thought.

    Rachel: local

I feel for you. When I came to Canada from New York nine years ago, I called "Z" zeeee. Now I say "zed" so I don't sound different. I changed a lot of my pronunciations. A few years ago I went back to NYC to visit, and people said my English has gone worse with weird accents.
